what is LOX?
LOX is an original, challenging puzzle game, proudly brought to you by the Loxmith.
Each LOX puzzle card craftily conceals a one-word solution (the ‘key’) within its design. To uncover each key, you and your team must contend with an intriguing array of cunning codes, devious riddles and mind-bending visual conundrums.
They may appear teasingly simple, but be prepared: LOX will push your puzzle-solving skills and intuition to their limits!
what’s in the box?
Each LOX suite contains four printed A6 puzzle cards, encrypted clues and instructions for play.
Not included: the solutions. Why not? Well, to avoid temptation, for one thing. There’s no need to verify your answers as the solution to each puzzle should bring a sense of completion, much as a physical key fits a lock. If you get stuck, the coded clues will help you on your way.
how to play?
No complex instructions or rules to learn. Your goal, simply put, is to find each card's key.
To do so, you will need to exercise curiosity and intuition to tease out the mechanisms at play in each design. Paper, pen and patience are usually required. Access to internet searches (or trusted reference books) is recommended.
who can play?
Owing to the level of challenge involved, LOX is ideal for pairs or teams of daring puzzle solvers. Solo puzzle aficionados are also very welcome to test their mettle against the Loxmith’s creations.
